Language Arts: We have a new language arts program that includes guided reading, spelling, grammar, writing, and phonics.
Math:
We use the Everyday Math system that consists of modeling, games and activities to teach students all 3rd grade math skills.
We also have the Rocket Math program that helps students learn their math facts.
Science: We will spend time discussing the scientific method, animals, weather, earth and space systems, forces and motion, and water.
Social Studies: Topics we will cover include Earth's resources, historical America, citizenship, economics, and government. We will also celebrate American holidays and work on some map skills.
